Our Enamelware rim is heat-treated to create a bronze-like patina finish. Both the plate surface and rim can be stripped of its unique coloring by acidic foods, such as lemon, and some harsh detergents and cleansers.
Enamelware is dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing to help maintain the original look and feel of the pieces.
To hand wash: Use a gentle, natural cleanser. Wash product in warm, soapy water to help remove baked-on food. Gently wipe away residue. Avoid using abrasive sponges or brushes as this may scratch the surface. Do not soak dish for extended periods as rusting can occur.
We recommend hand drying product and storing in a cool/dry location.
Q: Can I microwave the enamelware?
A: No, enamelware contains metal and is not microwave-safe.
Q: Is the enamelware dishwasher safe?
A: We recommend hand-washing to help maintain the original look and feel of the pieces. When washing by hand, avoid using abrasive sponges or brushes. See full care instructions for more tips on maintaining your enamelware’s finish.
Q: Is the enamelware oven safe?
A: Yes, the enamelware is oven safe to 500°F.
Q: Is the enamelware freezer safe?
A: Yes, enamelware is freezer safe. It will not crack or break under normal freezer temperatures.
Q: Can I use my enamelware outdoors?
A: Yes, our enamelware was designed to be durable enough for indoor/outdoor use.
Q: Can I store my enamelware outside for extended periods of time?
A: Enamelware is not meant to be stored outside for long periods of time. Extended exposure to wet conditions may cause rust and unnecessary wear and tear. We recommend storing your enamelware indoors after use to help it last as long as possible and to avoid the need to purchase a replacement.
Q: Is the rim on the enamelware copper?
A: No, the rim on the enamelware is heat-treated stainless steel which gives it a bronze-like patina effect. This process will give a variety of tones making each rim unique.
Q: Is enamelware safe to use if it is chipped?
A: Enamelware is an extremely durable, strong material. Over time and with constant use, chips are possible. We recommend not using the product if there is a sharp crack that may cause injury. A small chip, however, will not affect the safety of the product.

The Enamelware is very pretty and resilient. We do not put them in the dishwasher. No chips so far.

These bowls are durable and very useful. They are rugged when not used as careful as other bowls are used. They are also good looking.

I’m thrilled! Lightweight, sturdy, easy to clean, and they look great too. They are larger than they looked in the photos, which was a plus for us. The largest holds just 4oz less than the largest bowl in my old typical mixing set. The smaller bowl is still a generous size for mixing, serving, etc. I especially love the flat bottoms that really make these stable. And a plus: you can use them directly on an induction cooktop on low to melt butter and such.
Planning to add a 2nd set for larger cooking projects.

I really liked the dishware. I didn't order much and I'm glad a lot of the sets were sold out and I ordered these to see what they're like. I think they'll be fine for using as mixing bowls, but this isn't cookware I want to use on a daily basis in my house. It's fine for survival cookware and subsistence living.
